Someone is regretting the fact that we sold the snow blower when we left Alaska. Don't worry, it never snows in Belgium. If it does, it usually melts the same day. Usually.
Last winter we saw (here in the NL as well as in Belgium) a few days of snow and very cold temperatures - I remember that there was even talk of a 2010 Elfestedentocht (the ice-skating race in the north of the NL) because there was a thick layer of ice on most waterways... But this winter started rather too early and it's been snowing very often!
I'm loving all the snow, even though we don't have a sow shovel for our driveway. It's ok.. we're stocked up on food and not in a hurry to go anywhere, lol
