We woke to beautiful blue skies, and the perfect temperature to get outside and enjoy Belgium. This was a wonderful surprise after the weather we've been having lately, so we definitely took advantage of it. Most of us, anyway. Apparently being on the volleyball team takes a lot out of a teenager, so Jess bowed out of the fun to enjoy a nice relaxing day at home.
The fellows, on the other hand, were all about the bikes. And the speed. They were good sports, though, and let me stop occasionally and take some pictures.
And Russ took a few of me, as well. This is one of my favorite spots. I like to watch the boats traveling from one canal to another.
There weren't any boats going through here at the time, but there were still some interesting things to entertain Brandon. Spiders, for instance. Yuck. I guess they were out enjoying the nice weather, too.
We had lots of other company on the canal as well. It seems like everyone has been longing for the sun around here. Let's hope she stays a while. We've missed her.
